Comparative and functional genomics of adaptation and stress tolerance

My long-term research goal is to understand evolutionary and regulatory genetic responses to biomedically and industrially relevant stress phenotypes using fungal systems.

 

I am interested in the underlying cellular and genetic elements that allow organisms to push the boundaries of known stress tolerances.
